About me
Katherina was born in Mexico City in 1990. After studying medicine for a several years at the prestigious Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), she decided to dedicate herself to her true passion: architecture. Her study of architecture took place at the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana (UAM) during which time she received an academic scholarship to spend a semester at the Universidad Piloto de Colombia in Bogotá.
Her career in the film industry began in 2017, where she worked as a set designer for the series Falco. In the years following she has participated in many projects that have enriched her professional career. Her experience includes roles as set designer, Assistant Art Director, and Art Director for projects both national and international and including films, series and commercials.
In addition to experience working in various states of her home country of Mexico, Katherina has had the opportunity to collaborate remotely on productions in the United States and has even found herself exploring the deserts of Morocco for work on the soon-to-be-released Zero A.D.
